"The LOST Year" (Enhanced) - May 23, 2011

It was a year ago that "LOST" left the airwaves. Though it clearly took us far too long to say goodbye, there's perhaps no better time than now to do so, looking back on the six-year spectacular run of our favorite TV show ever. For those still listening, thank you, and mahalo for being a part of this amazing journey.

In this two-hour final podcast, we cover "The Other 364 Days," touching on what's happened since our penultimate show, from Comic-Con to "The New Man In Charge" to the whereabouts of "LOST" alumni. Then we share our favorite episodes, scenes, and characters from the entire series. Next up, more than half an hour of LOSTLine calls where you share your own picks. Finally, after the last "LOST" song from The Others LOST Band, we invite you to join us on our new podcast.

"LOST Podcasting Panel at Comic-Con" (MP3) - July 26, 2010

The Transmission: For the third year in a row, we joined Jay & Jack on their “LOST Podcasting” panel at the San Diego Comic-Con. Over 100 people filled the Santa Rosa Room at the Marriott to talk about the end of “LOST,” and its possible future. The audio is a bit rough, and some questions were completely inaudible, so I’ve edited them out. Still, you should be able to follow the free-wheeling, fun conversation. We had a blast at Comic-Con, and will definitely be returning next year! Hope to see you there!

We Have to Go Back! (MP3) - July 19, 2010

The Transmission: Before the final curtain falls on “The Transmission,” we’re making a last-minute pilgrimage to Comic-Con in San Diego this week to see old friends, make new ones, and collect the last “LOST” stories being told at the annual “Geek Prom.” If you’ll be there, we hope to connect with you. Track us on Twitter (@hawaii and @mrshawaii), or send us a text message at the LOSTline at 815-310-0808.

"The End" Revisited (Enhanced) - May 30, 2010

The Transmission: After spending a week rewatching and rethinking “The End,” we revisit the series finale of “LOST” with a full podcast. Much of our initial reaction stands, but taking in the bigger picture reveals some new ideas and nagging questions. After our take, we turn it over to You All Everybody for a mix of reactions, from satisfaction to disappointment. And we close the show with “I’ll Never Be LOST Again,” a hip-hop tribute to the final season of “LOST” by Injustice League.

"The End" (MP3) - May 24, 2010 [Fixed]

The Transmission: The end of “LOST.” Six seasons, over 120 hours, culminating in the two-and-a-half hour series finale, “The End.” We can’t believe we’re here. And we’re still struggling to process this final episode. This is our initial reaction “shortwave transmission.” But the full exploration of “The End” will come in our May 30 podcast. Please share your reaction and join the conversation by commenting below. Stay with us. Talk to us. Hold us! Also, thanks to Jarred Matthes for allowing us to share his ‘ukulele rendition of Michael Giacchino’s “Life & Death,” originally recorded for the Geronimo Jack’s Beard podcast.

"What They Died For" (MP3) - May 19, 2010

The Transmission: “While Locke devises a new strategy, Jack’s group searches for Desmond.” For this penultimate episode of “LOST,” we’re posting a “shortwave transmission,” a shorter, initial reactions podcast, rather than our usual blog entry. We skip the recap and get straight to our take, then share the first few calls to come in on the LOSTLine.
