"The End" Revisited (Enhanced) - May 30, 2010

The Transmission: After spending a week rewatching and rethinking “The End,” we revisit the series finale of “LOST” with a full podcast. Much of our initial reaction stands, but taking in the bigger picture reveals some new ideas and nagging questions. After our take, we turn it over to You All Everybody for a mix of reactions, from satisfaction to disappointment. And we close the show with “I’ll Never Be LOST Again,” a hip-hop tribute to the final season of “LOST” by Injustice League.

Guys, you are great and this podcast has been great but there are several things you missed out on in yesterday's podcast. 1) David Shepard, Jack's son in the FSW world is a construct developed by Jack to help him work through his issues with his own father. In the first MISSING PIECES mobisode, THE WATCH, Christian asked Jack to promise that he will a better dad to his son than he has been to Jack. To which, Jack responds, "No pressure, right?" Jack creates David so he can figure out his own issues with his dad's behavior. 2) The LA scenes in Season 5 felt off in some ways because of the acting or writing. 3) You forgot Charlotte and Daniel when listing the folks who were in the church. 4) Mr. Eko wasn't in the church because the actor who played Eko wanted too much money to return. 5) Michael and Walt will be in a deleted scene on the DVD that was cut out of the show due to time constraints. 6) Jack's grandfather, Ray, was just his father's father. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Thanks for coming back and doing this podcast. I look forward to your next venture.
